Welcome!
I offer mindfulness and more. On the foundation of my graduate training at Harvard University, Atlanta University, and the University of Georgia, I have built an up-to-date skill in the art of psychotherapy. In my more than 20 years of experience with a variety of clients, I have learned a great deal from these courageous people, and both my knowledge and my compassion have expanded and deepened. I do considerable elders' treatment -- for depression, loneliness, meaninglessness, and fear of death; I do not treat dementia or Alzheimer's disease.
My skills with individuals and couples have been developed to address problems of depression, anxiety, grief, marital discord, unsatisfactory careers, transition stresses—such as the movement from adolescence to adulthood and into retirement and old age—relationship problems, and adjustment to divorce.

The techniques I used are tailored to the client. Gestalt integration, body/mind work, dream interpretation, humor, pain relief, and grief counseling are among the techniques I employ. The corrective emotional experience developed within the therapy is also a healing factor.
